Alfred William Compigne (1818-1909) was a settler of Queensland, Australia. He was born at Gosford, Hampshire on 2 February 1818 and came to Sydney, Australia on 30 June, 1839. He was appointed to be on the first Queensland Legislative Council in 1860, and died in Brisbane on 4 July 1909.[1]
